Shayna's documents

Along with Shayna's beautiful photos we received a stack of her documents in Chinese. A couple of days later we received the translation and it helped us to know more about our little girl. We are already in love with her and so are her grandparents. Her name, Shayna, means "beautiful" in Yiddish and she was named after her maternal great-grandmother. The name Fu Ji means: Fu=Good fortune and Ji=Discipline).

Shayna FuJi was born in Xiushan County, Chongqing City in Sichuan Province in August of 2006 and was placed in the Xiushan Social Welfare Institute after she was found at the entrance of a coal mine 1-2 days after her birth. Her physical exam showed that she is in good health and that her development is normal. We are so excited and can't wait to receive our travel approval. In the meantime we ordered her finding ad and look forward to receiving it translated.
