Going to China today
We are on our way to China today. This is going to be a long flight going through LAX and Guangzhou to Beijing. We have our full-day Great Wall tour planned for the 25th, the day after we arrive, with the other families . The next day (26th) we will have our orientation followed by half a day tour to Tiananmen Square and the Temple of Heaven. On the 27th we will be on our way to Chongqing where we will meet our baby and formalize the adoption. From there we will be going to Guangzhou for a few days of bonding time with our little girl, some shopping, and also take care of her U.S. visa. We are scheduled to return on June 8th. Now, off to finish packing and to make sure that we have everything we need. Please wish us a safe trip to China. :-)

Prayers for a safe journey to and from for all of you, and that your new daughter will settle in and bond quickly with you! I'll bet you are bursting at the seams right now!
Prayers for safe travel and happy union/re-union with your baby. Enjoy and take lots of pics. If you think you have enough, take some more. Trust me. Take pics of things and people you would not normally take or don't think you need.
