Still Winter in NE

Shayna doesn't cease to amaze us every day with her new language skills and physical development. Not to mention that we can't get over how beautiful she is (this is just the humble, non-biased opinion of her parents, grandparents and auntie Dana). :-) She is a high energy girl who never seems to get tired of playing and running around. Therefore, we can hardly wait for spring to come so we can spend more time outside together.

She also has some likes and dislikes that mostly make us laugh or in some cases frustrate us. Either way, we can never stay frustrated for long. These include the following:

* She likes to eat cooked BROCCOLI.
* She hates vacuum cleaner noise and runs to whomever is not the one vacuuming.
* She likes to walk in the snow and observe her foot tracks.
* She already knows that she doesn't like the person in the white coat who looks into her ears.
* Potty training is not easy. Shayna likes to wear her potty on her head.
* She doesn't like to have her hair brushed or trimmed and tries to escape.
* She likes to brush her teeth (by herself) while looking at herself in the mirror.
* She dislikes wearing her winter boots. It's a struggle to put them on and keep them on.
* She looooves An Pan (a Japanese pastry with sweet red beans inside).
* Shayna can't stand it when I put hair clips in her hair or try to make a pony tail (no idea why).
* She loves playing doctor with the stethoscope and listening to my heart and.... face.
