Shayna turns 2

I haven't updated the blog in a while and a lot of things happened since the last entry, but to make a long story short - We moved back to Boston after close to 9 years in San Diego and now we are close to the family, which is great for us but mostly for Shayna. She loves her Nana, Grandpa and auntie Dana and will be happy to see her uncle Wesley and auntie Ruth when they visit us from New York. We celebrated her second birthday a few days after our move and we all had a lot of fun.

It seems like her energy level quadrupled since we moved here in August. She is constantly on the move both indoors and outdoors and she is unstoppable (and very fast). The local playground is now her second home and she can spend hours there each day and not get tired of it. She even started talking more, something she had no interest in before our move. She used to be perfectly fine just signing with us, but now she is starting to repeat words that we say and shows a lot of interest in learning new words, especially when she sees how enthusiastic we are whenever she says something new.
