Congratulations!

Yey! Shayna is officially a U.S. citizen. Well, she has been a citizen ever since we arrived in the U.S. from China, but today we received her Certificate of Citizenship with a cute little picture of her that was taken in Guangzhou for her U.S. visa. What a nice post-4th-of-July surprise. Tomorrow is our first post-placement home study so our social worker can finally meet Shayna and see how we are adjusting to our new life.

We got a new Bumbo seat for Shayna and she has a love-hate relationship with it. Yes, it's very comfy to seat in it, but why should she if she can be carried around by mommy and daddy? We usually see her attempting to get out of it. Ahhhh... There's nothing like hanging out in a diaper only on a 90-degree day.
